eTracks Honours Local Companies for Recycling and Reusing Tire Waste

Oakville, ON., DATE, 2025—eTracks Tire Management Systems, a not-for-profit company, recently recognized exceptional local companies that are essential to our efforts to recycle and keep end-of-life tires out of landfills in Ontario. Summary of Recent Amendment to Ontario's Tire Regulation

The Ontario Government has made amendments to the Tires Regulation which may impact registered tire producers, PROs, haulers, processors, collectors and retreaders. RPRA has summarized the regulatory changes made in December 2022, and more recently in March 2023, including what this means for affected parties. Amendments made include the following: Canadian brand holders now obligated instead of Ontario brand holders Small producers are now exempt from registration and reporting Promotion and education requirements for visible fees removed Removal and revision of audit requirements.
